About Robotics-

Robotics is a very interesting and fun experience. We all suggest that anyone willing should join robotics. There are so many things you can do and learn in robotics. It gives you the opportunity to learn computer programming and to build a working robot to your desire. It is also a very good bonding experience with fellow classmates and competitors. you will get to meet many new and important people and if you win, you get to go to Anaheim, California! Every year, Vex Robotics holds a new game.

The 2011-2012 game was called Gateway, where robots have to score a balls and cylinder shapes(barrels) into vertical tubes.
The 2012-2013 game was called Sack Attack, where robots pick up beanbags and score them in goals called troughs and high goals, each goal is worth different points.

Our Vex Experience-

We have all devoted lots of time to robotics and are willing to continue throughout the next few years. This is also a big deal for us since it is the first time anyone of us is going to the Worlds Competition in Anaheim, California. We have been really enjoying our time when we stay after school every Tuesday and Thursday. We each have our own specific job as well. Our teamwork and dedication has earned us an invitation to Worlds. We are all really excited and hope that we will do well in Worlds since it is one of our most competitive competitions yet. There will be almost 400 teams worldwide and we will need to work extra hard between now and April 17, which is when we leave for Anaheim. Unfortunately Payton will be unable to join us at the competition.

This is where the Vex Worlds Competition will be held. (Anaheim Convention Center).
